This year's AGM involved a discussion regarding technologies for travelling and business. In this discussion there were several products and technologies mentioned. For those interested, I have placed notes on our blog that list and link to the 'apps' and technologies mentioned.

Next week SABA will be holding its AGM on Thursday 17 Nov at 7.30pm in the Large Meeting Room at the Alexandrina Council offices, Cadell Street, Goolwa. All positions will be open for re-election at this meeting.

Congratulations to SABA members Karinga Park Homestead and Cottages and The Australasian c1858 for winning 2010 Fleurieu Peninsula Tourism Awards.

Alexandrina Council has been investigating issues to improve the public profile of the existing and expanding industrial area of Goolwa. Working with the Southern Alexandrina Business Association and the businesses operating in the area, it is proposed to develop this vital district as the Goolwa Trade Park. Businesses currently operating in the industrial area include retail outlets as well. Issues being discussed include signage, parking, public access and landscaping.
